Documents and information you may need
Requirements depend on your filing status, income types, deductions, and business structure. Common items include government-issued identification, Social Security numbers or ITINs for all persons on the return, income statements (Forms W-2, 1099, etc.), records of expenses and credits you claim, prior-year returns for amendments or prior-year filing, and IRS correspondence if you need notice-related assistance. We will provide a tailored list after reviewing your situation.
Typical process
Step 1
Inquiry and scope review
You describe your tax year, residency, income types, and whether state or local returns may be involved. We confirm whether the engagement fits our authorized scope.
Step 2
Document collection
You provide complete, accurate information and supporting records through agreed secure channels.
Step 3
Preparation and client review
We prepare the return from your information. You review results and confirm authorization before filing.
Step 4
Filing or delivery
When authorized, we e-file eligible federal returns or provide paper filing instructions. Additional steps apply for amendments or IRS correspondence support.
Availability
Federal income tax preparation may be available remotely to eligible clients throughout the United States, subject to engagement review.
Preparation of state or local income tax returns depends on the rules that apply in your jurisdiction—including possible registration, bonding, or education requirements for paid preparers—and will be confirmed before work begins. In-person appointments may be available where offered.

Frequently asked questions
Are you attorneys or CPAs?
Novapro Multi-Services LLC provides tax preparation and related administrative services. We do not hold ourselves out as a law firm. Any CPA, enrolled agent, or attorney credentials of individual preparers should be confirmed during engagement review. Services are provided within the preparer’s actual qualifications.
Can you prepare my state income tax return?
State and local returns depend on the rules in your state. Some states require registration, bonding, or continuing education for paid preparers. We confirm whether your state return can be included before accepting the engagement.
What is a PTIN and why does it matter?
The IRS requires paid preparers to use a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number on returns they prepare for compensation. You can verify preparer credentials using IRS guidance on choosing a tax professional.
Can you represent me if I am audited?
Representation rights depend on the preparer’s credentials and the type of IRS matter. Unlimited representation before the IRS is not included in standard return preparation unless explicitly agreed with a credentialed preparer authorized for that work.
How long will my refund take?
Refund timing is determined by the IRS and your financial institution. We do not guarantee refund amounts or deposit dates.
Important boundaries
Tax services are based on information and documentation supplied by the client. Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information.
